Quick Pear Ice Cream

Makes 8 Servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Bartlett pears, drained and finely diced
  • METHOD

    Let ice cream soften just until able to beat it with a hand mixer. Beat in lemon juice and cinnamon. Stir in diced pears. Immediately return to freezer for 3 to 4 hours or until firm.
