Pear Mincemeat Pie

Makes 12 Servings


  • 1 can (15 ounces) Bartlett pears, drained and chopped
  • 2 cups prepared mincemeat
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon peel
  • 2 9-inch prepared pie crusts

    In large bowl, combine pears, mincemeat, brandy and lemon peel; pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Roll remaining pastry into a 10 to 11-inch circle and cut into 5/8-inch strips. Twist strips and arrange in a spiral pattern on top of filling.
